Tanzanian nationals are referred to the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania in Belgium for the following documents:

A) Issuance or renewal of passports
B) Emergency travel documents (For one year validity)
C) Laissez-passer

Consular assistance

The Consulate provides assistance to Tanzanian nationals requiring consular access to them while in the consular district.

In case of detention of a Tanzanian subject in the Netherlands the subject will be informed by the authorities that, if he or she wishes, the police will notify the Consulate about the detention. The Consulate has the right to visit the detained person.

In case of death of a Tanzanian subject in the Netherlands, local authorise are obliged to inform the Consulate immediately.
